Birdsong Farm Newsletter

May 18, 2017 Hello Friends, We are gearing up to start the CSA pick ups next week and I thought it might be a good idea to review the dates, places, and times of pick ups. On farm- that first day will be Wednesday 5/24 from 2-4 PM. Those of you who have been here before know the drill, there will be someone here to meet and greet you during that time, and we'll show the new folks where the walk in cooler is etc, so that in the event of running late you can find your share in there. Hudson- also starting 5/24, the spot is Christ Church Episcopal on Aurora St in Hudson, just a block and half or so off the square with the clock tower. It's a white church with a small parking lot on right. The time is 5:30, a change from the 5 it had been. NOTE: 5:30 now not 5 in Hudson. Kent- at the Haymaker farmers market, which is open from 9-1. Stewart and I will have your share at our booth. Chagrin- at the Chagrin market Sundays from 10-1 EXCEPT for the first one on 5/28 as the farmers market isn't open yet. Let's meet at the little park on the way into town on Washington St, I believe it's called South Russel Park. There is a little parking lot there. I'll throw out 2PM and if that is a problem for any of you Chagrin folks let me know and maybe we can juggle it a bit. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting the new members as well. Planting is proceeding well here, though we're looking forward to cooler weather to make it easier on the young plants. Next week's forecast is for excellent farming weather, and let's hope it's a trend! See you soon, Matt
